OPPENLÄNDER Rechtsanwälte advised EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW) on its acquisition of Deutsche Energieversorgung GmbH (DEV), head-quartered in Leipzig. DEV develops and produces SENEC energy storage systems. The consummation of the transaction is subject to antitrust approval by the German Federal Cartel Office.
DEV enables its customers to use self-generated solar energy for electricity supply and heating supply. With its acquisition of DEV, EnBW completes its portfolio for private customers in the field of decentralised energy solutions. Its wide selection in the range of electric mobility includes the product series of EnBW solar +, an intelligently controlled combination of a photovoltaic system and a stationary battery storage, which provides the opportunity to purchase electricity of the community.
