Franziska Schaible studied law with a focus on commercial and economic law in Freiburg im Breisgau and Barcelona. She completed her doctorate in 2021 with a thesis on the liability of auditors at the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg. During her doctoral studies, Franziska Schaible worked as a research assistant at an international consulting firm in Freiburg and at a leading commercial law firm in Stuttgart in the areas of tax, corporate law and M&A. She completed her legal traineeship in Stuttgart and worked for a leading commercial law firm in Hamburg and the Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin.
She has been an attorney at OPPENLÄNDER since 2023. Franziska Schaible is a member of the German Institution for Arbitration e.V. (DIS), the Initiative of Young Arbitration Lawyers (DIS40) and the German Association of Women Lawyers.

Expertise
Franziska Schaible advises on complex legal disputes both at state courts and at arbitration tribunals. As part of the Freiburg team at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court in Hong Kong and Vienna, she gained her first experience in the field of international arbitration during her studies.
As part of her doctorate, she laid the foundation for her expertise in complex liability issues, which she has continuously developed and expanded since then.
Franziska Schaible also advises on energy law, intellectual property law and issues relating to artificial intelligence.
