Sonja Bühler studied law at the Universities of Freiburg im Breisgau and Glasgow (Scotland). She specialized in intellectual property law early on, completing her master’s degree in that field at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). Her dissertation, supervised by Prof. Haedicke in Freiburg, focused on a topic related to patent and pharmaceutical law. Following her legal clerkship at the Dresden Higher Regional Court, she gained professional experience in the legal department of a universal bank, where she concentrated on digitalization, before joining OPPENLÄNDER in 2026. Sonja Bühler is a member of the German Women Lawyers Association (Deutscher Juristinnenbund e.V.).
