Constitutional Law
We are especially well-known for our constitutional law work for companies, associations, politicians and the public service.
Business concepts and political objectives can often only be implemented or defended if constitutional law barriers and possibilities can be revealed. The constitutional law and procedural capability required presupposes a high degree of specialisation within public law and is therefore found in only few law firms.
We have represented our clients for many years in constitutional complaints and proceedings between public bodies before the Federal Constitutional Court and the Länder Constitutional Courts. For German and international companies and associations, we question new statutory provisions or detrimental judgments in Karlsruhe and defend parties there against constitutional complaints of others. We conduct for governments, parliamentary and political parties, cases between public bodies before the Federal Constitutional Court and the Länder Constitutional Courts, whether as objector or respondent. We provide our clients with opinions on controversial constitutional law and procedural questions and on pending legislation, for example, on compulsory corona vaccination, the treatment of streaming services in copyright law, questions of digital parliamentary sittings, new organisation of forensic psychiatric services or the debt brake.
