OPPENLÄNDER Rechtsanwälte has provided legal advice to the shareholder of Germany-based water treatment specialist EUWA on the sale of its shares to Danish pump and water technology group Grundfos. EUWA is a leading provider of water treatment solutions for the brewery and beverage industry, with installations in more than 110 countries, and has outstanding technological and engineering expertise along the entire pure water cycle.
With this transaction, Grundfos strengthens its water treatment division and continues its strategic focus on consistently expanding its water treatment business and further enhancing its expertise in this area. The acquisition also highlights the growing importance of reliable, sustainable and efficient water treatment solutions for the beverage industry against the backdrop of increasing challenges in water supply.
On the seller side, the transaction was led by OPPENLÄNDER partner Dr. Felix Born and associated partner Julia Sauter, LL.M., who provided legal advice.
