NTT DATA Business Solutions AG advised on the acquisition of Swedish ServiceNow specialist Netgain by OPPENLÄNDER

With the acquisition of Netgain AB, NTT DATA Business Solutions AG is further strengthening its position in the European ServiceNow market. Together with The Cloud People Group AS, which NTT DATA Business Solutions AG acquired in December 2025, Netgain is to form Sweden’s largest company specializing in ServiceNow. The transaction particularly enhances NTT DATA’s ServiceNow business in the Nordic countries and expands its ability to support customers in their digital transformation based on the ServiceNow platform. The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approval and is expected to close within weeks.

NTT DATA was advised in this transaction by OPPENLÄNDER Rechtsanwälte. The OPPENLÄNDER team mainly consisted of Dr Felix Born (lead) and Arthur Schulte. Law firm Delphi advised on the Swedish legal aspects of the transaction.

Netgain was founded in 2008 and became part of CombinedX in 2013. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and has extensive experience in consulting, implementation, managed services and workflow automation. With more than 160 ServiceNow certifications, Netgain supports medium-sized and large enterprises as well as public sector organisations in Sweden.

Back in December 2025, OPPENLÄNDER had already advised NTT DATA Business Solutions AG on the acquisition of The Cloud People Group AS.
