OPPENLÄNDER represented the DSGV - Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband (German Savings Banks and Giro Association) against dozens of plaintiffs in antitrust damages proceedings based on allegedly excessive EC cash fees. The Berlin Regional Court dismissed most of the claims in their entirety and awarded damages in only a few cases, which, however, amounted to a total of only 0.7% of the total claim asserted.
