Success at the Federal Administrative Court

Dr. Torsten Gerhard underlines his reputation in freedom of information law and environmental information law and wins an important appeal case for the state.

The case concerned the release of information in connection with Stuttgart 21. The state had lost at the Administrative Court, but was now successful at the Federal Administrative Court. The proceedings were of fundamental importance, so the Federal Administrative Court had in the meantime referred the matter to the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. The Federal Administrative Court has now applied its principles and will publish the decision in its official collection.

The final decision must be made by the Administrative Court of Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim.
