Annika Witte Paz is part of the antitrust team awarded by JUVE.

In her legal practice in antitrust law, Annika Witte Paz combines two passions: economic thinking and legal precision.

She first studied business administration with a specialisation in media and communication at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. She then studied law in Tübingen, focusing on competition law and intellectual property law.

She completed her legal training at the Regional Court of Tübingen with an elective placement in the legal department of a major bank in Ecuador.
She has been working as a lawyer at OPPENLÄNDER Rechtsanwälte since 2023.

Annika Witte Paz is a member of the Antitrust Study Association and the German Women Lawyers Association (djb).

Expertise

Annika Witte Paz advises on all matters relating to German and European antitrust law. She assists her clients in antitrust and merger control proceedings before the Federal Cartel Office as well as in antitrust damages proceedings before the courts. She also advises on distribution antitrust law. Having completed her studies in business administration, Annika Witte Paz has a strong understanding of economics, which benefits her when advising her clients. One of Annika Witte Paz’s particular areas of interest is the interface between antitrust and media law. Therefore, one focus of her work is advising media companies.
