Integrated

Trainees and Interns

What we are looking for

We are looking for excellent and motivated young lawyers wishing to experience the practice of law in a commercial law firm.  You enjoy difficult and complex cases. You are prepared to tackle legal problems at their roots and are happy to work in teams. Apart from as lawyer or elective station trainee, we also welcome you if you wish to support us with those strengths as an academic assistant or intern.

What we offer

We offer an unadorned view behind the scenery of a commercial law firm. We integrate you into our team, our cases and our office events. In short, you will be part of the team.

Trainees are also paid € 800 for each weekday worked.

What we demand

As evidence of high-level qualification, we require a state part first state examination of at least “fully satisfactory”.

We also place high demands on our work experience interns. Here too, you have to show by test and homework grades that you are among the best in your year.

Your training period
at OPPENLÄNDER

We regard our trainees as our lawyers of tomorrow. We treat our trainees like career entrants. They are full members of our team. A partner is responsible for your training. From the first day, you work on case-related tasks. You participate in meetings, negotiations and court hearings.

At the same time, we support you in your preparation for the second state examination. In the selection of your tasks, we keep possible exam-relevance in view. We cooperate with Kaiserseminare and enable you to participate in weekend and in-house seminars and to access a comprehensive range of test exams.
