We are looking for lawyers who enjoy practical work at a high level. Whether as career beginner or already with some experience, excellent professional qualification, commitment, creativity and team spirit are indispensable conditions for working at OPPENLÄNDER.

Your entry salary is EUR 110,000,- with completed doctorate and/or LL.M acquired abroad, rising in accordance with your personal development with us.

What we demand

As evidence of your high professional qualification, we strictly require from our applicants that they achieved at least the grade “fully satisfactory” both in the state part of the first state examination and in the second state examination.

We reward a doctorate or LL.M acquired abroad as visible evidence of academic work although not a condition for entry to OPPENLÄNDER.

Your career path

You alone determine your career path with us. We are not interested in status, only in quality and commitment.

The way to a partnership is clear and transparent at our law firm. On becoming a partner, you accept entrepreneurial responsibility for the firm and become part of the partnership.  Partnership is usually achieved in six years. The only intermediate stage, that of Associated Partner, is arrived at after three and a half years.

The OPPENLÄNDER Track accommodates individual life planning. To meet individual requirements, we offer alternative career paths with perspective.

What really matters

We are happy to be lawyers and enthusiastic about our work. That is not, however, the most important thing in life. It is the people with whom we share our life, are friendly with, who embrace us and whom we console if necessary who really matter. We take the time to do that. We do not set chargeable hours. That would not fit with how we understand ourselves.

Lateral hires
