Refinancing

From our practice, we know that the financing situation of companies has often evolved over decades. That often leads to numerous financing agreements and financing partners. In the company, valuable resources may thereby be tied-up and the often uncoordinated financing conditions limit commercial freedom. The entrepreneurial freedom of action is restricted due to security having been provided because additional financing will be offered only against additional – no longer available – security.

The release of such financing situations by comprehensive new financing with only one or few – at best unsecured – financing blocks, is part of our core capacities. From many successfully completed transactions, we are very familiar with the special legal challenges of a coordinated, simultaneous redemption of old loans and/or lenders with the recovery of security provided.
