Commercial law advice is more than a mere job for Carl Höfer. In his advice, he combines his broad range of experience and interests. He has known commercial issues from an early age in his parents’ business which he supports even up to today. Since 2009, he is also a member of the council in his home town Weissach im Tal. Carl Höfer is a frequently sought and recommended advisor for medium-sized (family) companies and publicly dominated companies – because he is well aware of their specific needs, thinks commercially and is accustomed to dealing with pluralistic decision making boards.
Carl Höfer was born in Backnang in 1988. He completed his studies and practical training in Heidelberg. As well as achieving his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Peter Hommelhoff, he also worked as an academic assistant at the Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg. Carl Höfer is, inter alia, a member of the Corporate Law Association – Academic Association for Company and Corporate Law (VGR).
Carl Höfer finds his outlet in sports. He was active as a football referee up to the highest South Germany amateur leagues. Today he coaches junior and upcoming referees.

Carl Höfer regularly lectures at corporate law seminars and training courses and is author of many publications. Since 2021, he lectures at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
