The Münster Higher Administrative Court has ruled that the Federal Cartel Office does not have to grant plaintiffs in the Girocard case access to files on the basis of the Freedom of Information Act (IFG).

OPPENLÄNDER defends DSGV against antitrust damages claims (EC-Cash)

OPPENLÄNDER represented the DSGV - Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband (German Savings Banks and Giro Association) against dozens of plaintiffs in antitrust damages proceedings based on allegedly excessive EC cash fees. The Berlin Regional Court dismissed most of the claims in their entirety and awarded damages in only a few cases, which, however, amounted to a total of only 0.7% of the total claim asserted.

OPPENLÄNDER sues for antitrust damages for BVG

OPPENLÄNDER has won damages for BVG from members of the rail cartel. This was the first time a German court had estimated cartel damages itself on the basis of a regression analysis.
