Christoph Wolf was born in Tübingen and grew up in Reutlingen. He studied in Tübingen. For several years, he was academic assistant to Prof. Dr. Wernhard Möschel at the University of Tübingen and received his doctorate in 2008 there with a thesis on the nexus between intangible goods law and antitrust law. After his practical training station at the General Directorate Competition of the European Commission in Brussels, he was admitted in 2010 as a lawyer. Since then he has worked as a lawyer for antitrust law at OPPENLÄNDER.

Expertise
Christoph Wolf is an antitrust specialist. His areas of advice are procurement antitrust law, antitrust law compliance, antitrust compensation law and merger control. In the area of contractual antitrust law he advises, for example, regularly on the structure of distribution systems and cooperations between competitors. Christoph Wolf conducted various antitrust compensation proceedings of which many have contributed to the jurisprudence of the Federal Court of Justice. His industry emphasis is, inter alia, on the automobile industry, the construction industry, the health system and public companies.
Christoph Wolf is the author of many specialist publications and regularly lectures on antitrust issues. He is, inter alia, co-author of the IT law commentary of Schuster/Grützmacher and the Antitrust Compliance Handbook of Rübenstahl/Hahn/Voet van Vormizeele.
