Corina Jürschik-Grau was born in Heilbronn in 1985, studied law at the University of Tübingen and has found her professional habitat in Stuttgart. She completed her doctorate in Tübingen in 2011 with a thesis on private international law.
Since her admission as a lawyer at the beginning of 2013, she works in public commercial law with emphasis on procurement law, since 2017 also as specially qualified lawyer for procurement law. In 2014, she completed her master studies (LL.M.) on the procurement law admissibility of open house contracts. Since 2009, she is also a lecturer in European law. She combines her procurement law and European law knowledge in advising on all legal issues surrounding the subject of mobility. She has particular expertise in local public transport. In that area and in public services she also advises on European subvention law. She is a member of the Forum Procurement e.V. and of the management board of the Stuttgart Chamber of Lawyers.

Expertise
Public commercial law is her main field of advice. She advises in particular on procurement and EU subvention law. She has special expertise in advising the transport sector on all questions in connection with transport and transport financing. In the area of European subvention law, she advises, inter alia, on public services. She also has experience in setting up and structuring complex procurement proceedings in the area of local public passenger transport and securing them against potential attack. In doing so, she advises not only potential transport operators, ministries and transport associations, but also the responsible authorities.
As author of many specialist publications her expertise is acknowledged. In the area of industry specific subvention and procurement, she is the author of her own commentary (Jürschik, Verordnung über öffentliche Personenverkehrsdienste, commentary on VO (EG) 1370/2007 incl. VO (EU) 2016/2338, 2nd ed., Kohlhammer). In addition, she contributed as an author to the procurement law commentary “Heuvels/Höß/Kus/Wagner” (Procurement Law, 2nd ed. 2021, Kohlhammer) and is author of many articles. The courts regularly refer to her commentaries and specialist publications.
