OPPENLÄNDER brings sale of metro infrastructure to the finish line

The district of Munich buys the subway line 6 from the city of Garching for about 30 million euros. In doing so, the district also takes over the permits for the operation of the line. Lawyers, including OPPENLÄNDER attorneys Dr. Corina Jürschik-Grau and Prof. Dr. Christofer Lenz, contributed around 900 pages of contracts and over four years of work to the project. Rhineland-Palatinate State Government wins case with OPPENLÄNDER at the Administrative Court in dispute over municipal financial equalisation

The Administrative Court in Neustadt an der Weinstraße has dismissed the test case brought by the city of Pirmasens and the district of Südwestpfalz against the municipal financial equalisation scheme in Rhineland-Palatinate. The court of first instance has thus confirmed the state’s position: according to the ruling, the State Financial Equalisation Act (LFAG), as amended at the end of 2022, is not unconstitutional.
