OPPENLÄNDER partner heads constitutional law committee

The Presidium of the Federal Bar Association has appointed our partner Prof Dr Christofer Lenz as the new Chairman of the Constitutional Law Committee. The committee regularly issues opinions on pending proceedings at the request of the Federal Constitutional Court and thus contributes the lawyers’ perspective. The committee members are appointed for four years and work on an honorary basis. The current appointment period began on 1 January 2024 and ends on 31 December 2027.

We congratulate Christofer Lenz on this honourable task and wish him and the other committee members Dr Katharina Wild, Dr Christian Bracher, Prof. Dr Karsten Fehn, Dr Markus Groß, Dr Patrick Heinemann, Dr Michael Moeskes, Dr Marc Ruttloff and Dr Gerhard Strate every success.

OPPENLÄNDER obtains authorisation for long-term securing of raw materials

Prof Dr Christofer Lenz and Dr Jens Ritter have made it possible despite bureaucratic and legal hurdles and obtained a permit for a joint venture between two large gravel works that will secure the supply of raw materials in the long term.
