Electrification

The electrification of the powertrain is a key driver of transformation in the automotive industry. New corporate structures, new suppliers, new competitors – established partnerships are being called into question and new requirements are leading to new legal and regulatory challenges. This can be seen, for example, in new partnerships and collaborations at the development level and in the procurement of “new” preliminary products and raw materials. Distribution channels and the structure of the sales organization are also changing in response to the new market environment and changing customer expectations. In addition, car manufacturers have expanded their offering beyond the sale of cars to include charging solutions for electric cars and are thus exposed to new opportunities and risks.
