“Green” antitrust law

Companies are increasingly required to take sustainability aspects into account in their corporate governance, to set responsible minimum standards and to research promising technologies. Due to the effort involved, it makes sense to cooperate with other companies to achieve these goals. Although the antitrust authorities recognize this in principle, sustainability cooperations must also comply with antitrust restrictions. The antitrust authorities, in particular the European Commission, have not yet been able to establish a uniform and established practice. We advise you on the permissibility and limits of such cooperations, support you in coordinating with the authorities involved and give you legal certainty in your business decisions.
