OPPENLÄNDER Rechtsanwälte provided comprehensive legal advice to MSH Medien System Haus GmbH & Co. KG on the acquisition of German Auto Labs GAL GmbH.
German Autolabs is a Berlin-based AI tech start-up that develops voice-assisted assistants for couriers, delivery people and other mobile workers. With the acquisition, MSH is expanding its portfolio across the entire publishing process chain to last-mile logistics.
The two companies have already pooled their expertise as part of a strategic partnership to further develop and market the “Digital Delivery Book,” a digital software solution for daily newspaper delivery. With the acquisition, both partners are taking the next logical step: making the entire digital value chain in the publishing world leaner and more efficient in all the right places. Based on German Autolabs’ proprietary speech AI platform, challenges in publishing processes – such as content creation, ad and subscription sales, book deliveries or employee recruitment and, of course, delivery – are to be mastered.
MSH Medien System Haus is the leading systems house for consulting, software, support and managed IT services in the media industry and employs a good 100 people in Stuttgart and Oberndorf a.N.
